Recycled fabrics made from plastic bottles (PET) and recycled cotton are now available upon request to make your bags and covers.
The options are many : there are no less than 5 different fabrics in many colors that can replace natural cotton or synthetic fabrics such as microfiber.
These fabrics are made in Spain by an acclaimed recycled fabrics manufacturing specialist. In addition, they are GRS (Global Recycled Standard) certified and one of them is Vegan-friendly.
Ecoval-ra® recycled fabric
This recycled fabric is made of 60 % pre-composted recycled cotton*, 35 % polyester (PES) and 5 % other fibers.
* Recycled cotton comes from manufacturing factories : they are production waste such as samples and testers.
This 300g fabric is thick and looks heathered. Available in 14 different colors, it is a nice, different fabric.
Brandon® recycled fabric
Patan® recycled fabric
This recycled fabric is made of 100% post-consumer recycled polyester (PET). It is certified Vegan. It is also 100 % sustainable as it terminates the life cycle of products such as plastic bottles. This fabric is a 180 g polyester piqué with a slightly rough feel but supple that is often compared to the traditional 160 g cotton ; it thus allows for many possible uses and comes in 16 colors.
This has an equivalent in organic flat cotton and flat cotton.
Catana® recycled fabric
Gentil® and Castell® recycled fabric
These 2 fabrics are made of 56% post-consumer recycled polyester (PET) and 44% polyester (PES).
Gentil® comes in white only and the Castell® in black only.
Both fabrics are an equivalent to 83 microfiber while being slightly rough feel.
