Moiré effect

Moiré is the blurring of a reproduced image, created by unwanted geometric patterns. It is caused by a difference in the orientation of the screens or of their axes. The superimposed screens then start drawing waves or rosettes that do not exist in the original file. Moiré also appears when a screened
gradient is printed on a fabric with a visible weave: the print screen and the weave get in each other’s way.
